Natalio Roman Cosme, 90, of Rocky Hill, husband of Irma (Calderon Rivera) Roman Cosme passed away on February 14, 2026, at the Sargeant John F. Levitow Health Care Center. Born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Juan and Isabel (Cosme) Roman.
Natalio lived in Middletown most of his life and was a member of Saint Francis of Assisi Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and served in the Army National Guard for four years. Natalio loved fishing and hunting.
Along with his wife, Natalio is survived by three sons, Luis Roman and his wife Josie of Portland, Raul Roman of New Britain and Glenn Roman; four daughters, Sonia Williams and her husband Van of Middletown, Carmen Perry of Middletown, Migdalia Roman-Matos and her husband Rafael of Meriden and Irma Roman of Bristol; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Natalio was predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 26th at 10:30 am at Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown. Burial will follow in the State Veteran Cemetery where full military honors will be accorded. Family and friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown.
