Evan Robert Watson of Jonesborough went to be with his Heavenly Father and all his family that went on before him on December 16, 2009, after four courageous days of life. He is in their care now. Evan passed away peacefully in his Mommy and Daddy's arms. They are forever heart-broken. His parents now carry on their love for him by fighting with his twin brother, Eli, to leave his hospital home one day soon. Evan, you are the joy of our lives. We waited so many years to meet you, and our time together was too short, but know that we love you, and we will see you again one day. With love, Dad, Mom, and Eli.
Evan was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, John and Ruth Watson, Charles and Catherine O'Neill, Syllus and Shirley Luckadoo, and Curtis Sutton.
Surviving are his parents, Brian and Shana Watson; twin brother, Eli Watson; grandparents, David and Sherry Luckadoo of Morristown and Robert and Peggy Watson of Kingsport; great-grandmother, Ruby Sutton of Middlesboro, KY; uncles and aunts, Jonathan and Heather Luckadoo of Knoxville, Joey and Cindy Watson of Kingsport, and Mark Watson of Kingsport; and cousins, William Pierce and Sean Watson of Kingsport.
A private Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Washington County Memorial Gardens with Dr. Marvin Cameron officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be given to the Johnson City Medical Center NICU.
